I Joined the 10 Pound Challenge!

Remember when I said that I’m sorta-kinda-not-really satisfied with my weight? Like, I’m a “normal” body weight, but if I lost 10 pounds I’d be uber-happy?

Well, this blog called Newlyweds on a Budget just announced a 10 pound challenge. The idea is that a bunch of bloggers all try to lose 10 pounds over the span of 12 weeks. We support each other and encourage each other. There’s even a cash prize drawing at the end.

That sounds like GOLD! Encouragement is EXACTLY what I need to help me put down that cupcake … seriously, PUT DOWN the cupcake …

So I’m entering the 10 pound challenge. “Hello, fellow challengers!”

Allow me to introduce myself:

I’m an American woman in her late 20’s writing anonymously under the pseudonym Kennedi Rose. (Unfortunately, my parents were not hip enough to give me a beautiful name like that). I want to be as open and honest as possible, so I’m putting it out there — upfront — that “Kennedi” is a pseudonym. And, like Batman, I’m not going to reveal my true identity. I write about beauty on a budget — and I discuss both outer beauty (makeup, hair, skin care) and inner beauty (health, fitness, nutrition).
