Want to keep your face and body moisturized this winter, but you can’t find any affordable moisturizing creams? Here are some free or cheap homemade moisturizing cream recipes.

#1. Green tea face cream
All you need is some Aloe Vera gel, half a cup of melted beeswax, 3 teaspoons each of green tea, almond and coconut oil. Mix all of them together into a blender and add the essential oil that you like. This homemade cream is perfect for drying skin during winters.

#2. Rose moisturizer
For an effective moisturizer, add 4 teaspoons of Aloe Vera Gel and 1 tea spoon of Almond oil. Five drops of rose water should be added to this. This cream smells great and is very effective. You can carry this moisturizer around with you in a small case of an empty Vaseline bottle.

#3. Lemon body moisturizer
Use a cup of milk add 3 tea spoons of lemon juice to it and two teaspoons of almond oil. Mix the ingredients and keep in the refrigerator for an hour. This body moisturizer can be used every day.

#4. Cucumber moisturizer
Blend in one cucumber with 1 teaspoon of olive oil and 3 teaspoons of lemon juice. Store this in the refrigerator if you wish to use this for long. For cracked skin, this moisturizer is the best.

#5. Oats moisturizer with olive oil
Take a cup of finely ground oats and add 4-5 teaspoons of hot coconut oil. Add rosemary oil to this mixture. After a few minutes add a few drops of olive oil and voila! You have the perfect winter day acre moisturizer with you.

#6. Honey moisturizer
For decades now honey has been used for moisturizing the face. Take 3 teaspoons of honey and add some fresh orange juice to it. Take some beeswax and heat it for 5 minutes. Add the ingredients to this. After 10 minutes or so, remove the mixture from the stove. Keep the mixture in a cool place.

#7. Beeswax moisturizer
Beeswax is most commonly used to give the creamy texture for your preparation. Take some glycerine and add 1 tea spoon of lemon juice to it. Heat it with the beeswax. Now add half a table spoon of olive oil to the same. Store in a jar and apply it as often as possible.

#8. Avocado delight
Take 1 ounce of avocado oil and add cocoa butter mux to it. Take beeswax in pan and heat it. Use 15 drops of geranium oil to the same. Instead of geranium oil, one could also use eucalyptus essential oils too.
