I don’t like the name of this exercise, but I love what it does for my abs.
Plus, it’s free. It doesn’t require any equipment, special clothes or a gym membership. How’s that for beauty on a budget?
Here’s how it works:
Step One: Get on your hands and knees in “plank” position. Your back should be flat like a tabletop.
Step Two: Exhale all the air in your lungs. Then exhale more.
Step Three: Suck in your abs as tight as they will go. Then suck them in tighter. This should happen naturally from your exhale.
Step Four: Hold that belly button toward your spine for 8 – 12 seconds.
Step Five: Inhale. Complete one full, regular, slow breath.
Step Six: Repeat for 10 reps.
Simple, right? And you can do it right now on your living room floor. No equipment or special athletic shoes/clothes required.
The ‘puking cat’ exercise comes from the same book that promotes the Slow-Carb Diet, a healthy and affordable way to eat.
