Exercise in Style and on a Budget

Cute, quality workout clothing combines style and functionality. It helps you look cute — and also fuels your athletic performance.

You might want to start by buying a pair of great shoes. Your training shoes are arguably the most important part of your workout wardrobe and it is important to get a pair that fits right.

Different brands are well-known for different features. The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 6 is known for its stability. If comfort is king, try the New Balance 1060, which are tight-fitting and have a special built-in material that is made to soften the contact between foot and sole. Another essential piece of sportswear for women is the sports bra. Your regular, everyday bra just isn’t enough! Whether you have a generous or a modest bust, you need a sports bra to support both the chest and back areas and to avoid any back, neck or shoulder strain.

You will also need to get a few tank tops and pants or shorts to complete your outfit. Whatever cut you go for, they should be breathable, moisture-wicking and – once again – comfortable. These features will help keep you cool and dry, helping you to push yourself further during your training session.
