Woman Loses 75 Pounds on Starbucks Diet

Christine Hall, a 66-year-old librarian in Virginia, says she dropped more than 75 pounds by eating nothing but food from Starbucks.

Christine works two jobs and says she doesn’t have time to prepare food or to eat at home. She eats breakfast, lunch and dinner while she’s on short breaks from work.

So when she tipped the scales at 190 pounds and decided she needed to shed some weight, she started eating only Starbucks food.

Breakfast was a cup of oatmeal and black coffee. Coffee only has 5 calories if it’s black (no cream or sugar). Oatmeal has 150 calories, 2 grams of fat and 5 grams of protein.

Lunch was a Bistro Box, like the Chipotle Chicken Wrap box, which has 290 calories, 12 grams of fat and 19 grams of protein.

Dinner was a panini, like the Santa Fe Chicken, which has 400 calories, 11 grams of fat and 26 grams of protein, or the Turkey Rustico, which has 480 calories, 18 grams of fat and a whopping 33 grams of protein. (Christine Hall said she liked the paninis for dinner because they were especially filling.)

All in all, she stuck to a very low-calorie diet, sometimes eating less than 900 calories a day. (Add it up). Christine dropped from 190 pounds to 115 pounds, which puts her at a Body Mass Index of just under 20, given her 5 foot, 4 inch frame.
