It is a group of autoimmune disease which may result in changes to the skin, blood vessels, muscles and internal organs. Common symptoms of this are feeling tired, thickened skin, stiffness, poor blood flow to the fingers or toes. The cause of scleroderma is not known and there is no complete cure for this disease but with proper treatment you can minimize its symptoms. The disease occurs in 3 per 100,000 people and often occurs in the middle age. It can be caused due to genetics or even because environmental changes.

  1. Garlic

It is one of the best natural remedy to cure scleroderma. But do keep in mind that you should avoid the intake of garlic if you have scleroderma. Hence, only apply it on the skin as it will help you soften your skin.

Cut a garlic clove into medium pieces and apply it on the affected area. Make sure you rub these pieces at least for one hour. You can even apply garlic oil.

  1. Ginger

Scleroderma sometimes leads to digestion problems and for this ginger is the best home remedy. Ginger has antibiotic components and is even rich in antioxidants. It even helps in fighting the bad fat. To boost your immunity intake of ginger is very beneficial. Boil some water with some chopped ginger for few minutes. Let it cool for few minutes and then stain it and enjoy your ginger water. Drink it every-day for 2-3 times.

It is one of the home remedy which is not always recommended by doctors but it has a great effect on scleroderma. It sometimes has adverse effect on some people?s skin but not always. Use of onions helps to soften the scars.

Cut an onion in the half and directly apply it on the affected area. Massage it for half an hour. Don?t overdo this as it might cause adverse effect.

  1. Lemon

Lemon almost works on all the skin diseases. Just cut the lemon into half and rub it on the affected area for about ten to fifteen minutes. This will help to soften the skin and reduce the marks as lemons contain antioxidants which make this possible.

  1. Gram flour

Though it might look like ordinary yellow powder but it helps to do wonder on the patchy skin. It has many antioxidants which again help to soften the skin.

Take some gram flour in a bowl and mix it well with water to achieve a paste-like consistency. Now take a cotton ball and dip in the paste and apply it on the area which is affected. Don?t forget to massage it gently with your fingers.

It is one of the best home remedy for scleroderma. Just make a paste of turmeric powder and water. Apply this paste on the affected area and let it dry. Afterwards just rinse it with lukewarm water and then dry the area. You can ever mix some turmeric in a glass of milk and drink it.

  1. Spinach

Spinach is good for boosting immunity as it contains iron, phosphorous and vitamin E. You can have spinach soup. To enhance its taste, you can add carrots and tomatoes in it. It is one of the easiest remedy which you can add into your diet.

  1. Fish oil

If you want an omega-3 fatty acids product then you need to have fish oil. It contains a high number of antioxidants. You can have fish oil capsules every-day to decrease the scaly patches on the skin. Fishes like mackerels, sardines or tuna for that matter contains good amount of Omega-3 fatty acids which you can surely add in your diet.
