5 Quick and Healthy Breakfast Alternatives for Busy Mornings

Busy mornings often lead to us missing breakfasts. Breakfast is one of the most important meals. It helps you start your day on the right food and helps give your body some much-needed nutrients and energy after you use up most of it in your sleep. Here are some classic quick and healthy breakfast alternatives that will get you to be mindful of your body even when you are super-busy.

1. Fruits

Fruits are the definition of quick and healthy bites. If you are running late, then grab a fruit that you eat during your commute. Most fruits will not need you to prep them, so always keep fruits you can carry whole handy.?

Fruits like apples, bananas, pears, guavas, grapes, etc. are the least messy options and the easiest to eat on the go and dispose of the remainings. You can also take fruits that need more peeling like an orange, but remember to carry wipes and something to dispose the peels in.

You can be better prepared by prepping fruits like watermelon, muskmelon, papaya. Just precut them and store in a tiffin in your refrigerator, so that you can quickly grab something healthy while you are running to catch your bus, train, or uber. This can also be turned into a fruit salad container to take along for even when you are not so rushing-busy.

2. Oats

Oats are the epitome of a healthy breakfast. It is also quick and easy when it comes to representation. Even if you make them from scratch instead of buying the instant packets, you can still have them done in minutes.?

If you don?t like the taste of the plain-old oats, you can always customize it to your liking. Adding nuts, honey, or chopped fruits don?t take much time either.

3. Eggs

I always suggest having eggs in the house. Having eggs solves the what-to-eat issue immediately. You can make so many dishes and all of them in really less time. They are not only fit for breakfast, but they make a healthy lunch and dinner option, and even snacking option.?

Eggs are the raw material for one of the most versatile meal options. (I am not discounting potatoes here, but we are talking healthy). If you are running super late, you can put the eggs to boil while you rush to do your other morning chores and have them ready in time for you to grab them and leave.

Makin an omelet or sunny side up is quick and easy and makes for a delicious breakfast option.

4. A Glass of Milk or Juice

It doesn?t take much time to pour a glass of milk or juice. You can drink it while you pack your things, or you can take them in a to-go cup.

Milk and boxed juice don?t take a lot of effort. You get many options. Even with milk, there are a ton of flavors available to choose from. You can also make fresh juice at home, if you don?t have time in the mornings, then you can make the juice the night before and store it in the fridge. I would suggest going for this option rather than packaged juice because most of them have high sugar content.

5. Yogurt Smoothies

One of the most popular and my favorite options when it comes to smoothies ? yogurt smoothie. Yogurt smoothies are an excellent quick breakfast option to have or leave your house with, they have become one of the most common grab-and-go food items for busy bees.

While making the yogurt smoothie on your own, along with some low-fat yogurt pop in some fruits like mangoes or bananas or some berries and you have yourself a quick, healthy, and delicious drink.
