5 Homemade Lip Scrub Options

Lip scrubs are great for getting rid of your dry lips and turning them into baby soft lips. But, some scrubs can be really expensive. We don?t mind spending money on things that make us feel good. But, what if I tell you, you don?t have to. Making lip scrubs at home is easy and won?t break your bank. Many lip scrubs can be made from ingredients already available in your home. Here are five options for you to try.

1. Brown sugar and honey lip scrub

For this lip scrub, all you need is 1 tbsp brown sugar, honey to mix with brown sugar and turn it into a paste and a drop of vanilla. Mix all of these things thoroughly and then store it in a glass jar. It can be stored up to a month. You can rub this scrub into your lips and exfoliate gently. Let it sit for a minute or two. You can then rinse it off with warm water. Apply lip balm afterward to rehydrate and moisturize your lips.

2. Coconut sugar lip scrub

For this lip scrub, all you need is two tbsp of softened coconut oil, two tbsp of coconut sugar, and one tbsp honey. Mix all three ingredients in a bowl until it forms a grainy paste. Store it in a glass jar. It can last for 2-3 weeks in your refrigerator. Apply the scrub over your lips and gently massage for five minutes. After that, you can rinse it off with warm water. Apply lip balm afterward to rehydrate and moisturize your lips.

3. Lemon sugar lip scrub

For this lip scrub, all you need is 1 tsp of freshly squeezed lemon juice, one and a half tsp of coconut oil, and 2 tsp of granulated sugar. Mix all the ingredients and then store the scrub in a glass jar. It can last a week in your refrigerator. Scrub it on your lips and then rinse with warm water. Apply lip balm afterward to rehydrate and moisturize your lips.

4. Mint lip scrub

For this lip scrub, all you need is 1 tsp honey, 1 tsp olive oil, 1 drop peppermint oil, and ? cup of sugar. Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl and store in a glass jar. Hold a warm washcloth over lips to soften it and then rub the scrub on your lips, let it sit or softly massage it for five minutes and then rinse off with warm water. Apply lip balm afterward to rehydrate and moisturize your lips.

5. Chocolate lip scrub

For this scrub, all you need is one tbsp cocoa powder, two tsp olive oil, one tsp vanilla, ? tsp honey, and three tbsp of white granulated sugar. Mix all ingredients in a small bowl and store in a glass jar. It can last 2-3 weeks in your refrigerator. Apply the scrub on your lips and let it sit for five minutes then wash it off with warm water. Apply lip balm afterward to rehydrate and moisturize your lips.
