Here are some homemade face packs that are worth trying.

1. Aloe vera

Aloe vera is a very versatile plant. It is used from medicines to beauty and seems to do wonders in all the ways used. People swear by aloe vera, and they have a good reason to do so. It is used to treat various skin conditions as well as internal issues. It is also used for removing suntan and dark spots, which is what makes it a great ingredient for a face pack.

You can apply aloe vera directly, but if you want it to go a bit further for you, then add aloe vera gel into a bowl and add a few drops of lemon. Mix and apply on your face. Let it soak in for 20  minutes and rinse off with cold water.

2. Lemon and honey

Lemon is great for cleansing the skin, it helps remove dead skin cells. Honey is known for it’s antibacterial and antiseptic properties. So, having them work as your face pack is great and also helps with oily skin.

Mix lemon juice and honey and apply it on your face. Let dry for 20 minutes and wash it off.

3. Gram flour and curd

Gram flour is one of the most used ingredients for homemade face packs. It acts as a cleansing agent, which makes it great for face packs. Curd is said to help with removing dead skin cells and also have a moisturizing effect.

Mix two tbsp of gram flour, one tbsp of curd, one tsp of honey, and a dash of turmeric. Apply the paste on your face and let it dry for about five minutes and then wash it off with cold water.

4. Gram flour and turmeric powder

This is the easier option for the above-mentioned face pack. All you have to do is mix a dash of turmeric in the gram flour with a few drops of rose water for a glow afterward. Apply the smooth paste on your face and let it dry. After doing that, wash it off, and you will have a glowing skin.

5. Multani Mitti

Multani Mitti is also one of the most commonly used face packs. It is said to have healing properties and is also said to get rid of acne, clean your skin, and give it a glow. Although it can be applied on its own, you have always added ingredients for added benefits.

Mix two teaspoons of Multani Mitti with a little turmeric powder, half a teaspoon of sandalwood powder, and lemon juice. You can also add milk, but be careful because the lemon juice can curdle the milk. Apply it on your face, then wash it off with cold water when it has dried down.
